Description

We have spared no expense in creating your home away from home in our upper unit. Not only does this unit have extraordinary views of the ocean from the living room, but we have fully upgraded the unit with granite kitchen counters, travertine floors, a marble fireplace, and ceiling fans throughout. Whether you open the large sliding doors to hear the surf and enjoy the cool ocean breeze, or are watching satellite television on the large flat screen TV, you will cherish every moment of your vacation at our home.

With 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on a single floor, the unit comfortably sleeps 10. The bedrooms include a master bedroom and bathroom with 1 king size bed with a flat screen satellite television and DVD player, 2 rooms each with Queen size beds and flat screen satellite televisions and DVD players, 1 room with double bunks. All can be made with fresh linens for an additional charge. The bathrooms are clean, updated and newly remodeled with tile showers, travertine floors, granite counters and new fixtures. The master has a separate shower and tub.

The kitchen includes all of your cooking essentials such as pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, dishware, glassware, coffee maker, toaster, blender and much more. The kitchen also offers all major appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and gas stove. The unit also includes a BBQ for your use.

Rental Rate

Rental Policy

Your reservation is not confirmed until we have received a signed rental agreement, half the total rental cost, and a photocopy of your drivers license.
The security deposit is fully refundable so long as the unit is left in the same condition as it was found at the beginning of your rental. Deductions will be taken from the deposit for any damages incurred during your stay.
In the event of cancellation your rental reservation deposit will only be refunded if the unit is re rented for that period. Cancellations must be made in writing, via email, fax or mail. Cancellations will not be taken by phone.
Pets are not allowed in either unit.
Parties or large gatherings are only allowed with prior written consent from owner.
No smoking or tobacco products permitted inside either unit, nor on the patio or on any of the premises.

Direction

Some may not realize just how short of a drive Newport Beach is to surrounding cities, but an escape to this resort town can make you feel like you are world's away.

From Los Angeles (50 miles)

- Take the 5 or 405 freeways south to the 55 freeway south towards Newport Beach. Follow the signs for the 73 South as it leads to the 55. Take the 55 freeway all the way down until the freeway ends. Keep going straight ahead on Newport Blvd. and you'll reach the Balboa Peninsula. Continue to 32nd street and turn right (Albertson's Market Shopping Center). Go to the signal and turn left onto Balboa Blvd. Almost immediately turn right onto 31st street. Drive almost to the end of 31st street and turn right into the alley. Approach the house from the alley. 3110 W. Oceanfront will be the 6th house.

From San Diego (85 miles)

- Take the 5 freeway north to the 405 freeway north. Take the 55 freeway south towards Newport Beach until the freeway ends. Keep going straight ahead on Newport Blvd. and you'll reach the Balboa Peninsula. Continue to 32nd street and turn right (Albertson's Market Shopping Center). Go to the signal and turn left onto Balboa Blvd. Almost immediately turn right onto 31st street. Drive almost to the end of 31st street and turn right into the alley. Approach the house from the alley. 3110 W. Oceanfront will be the 6th house.

From Palm Springs and Desert Cities

- Take the 10 freeway west keep left to the 60 freeway west keep right to the 91 freeway west. Follow the signs towards the 55 freeway south towards Newport Beach until the freeway ends. Keep going straight ahead on Newport Blvd. and you'll reach the Balboa Peninsula. Continue to 32nd street and turn right (Albertson's Market Shopping Center). Go to the signal and turn left onto Balboa Blvd. Almost immediately turn right onto 31st street. Drive almost to the end of 31st street and turn right into the alley. Approach the house from the alley. 3110 W. Oceanfront will be the 6th house.

About Lower West Newport

On the Balboa Peninsula, lower West Newport begins at the Newport Pier and ends with the boardwalk at 36th Street. Traveling the boardwalk by bike, in line skate, or by foot offers the best opportunity to see the many miles of beach that Newport has to offer.

Most of the shops and restaurants on the peninsula are located in Lower West Newport, and are easy walking distance from the house. The Crab Cooker and The Spaghetti Factory, and Ruby's on the Balboa Pier are just a few popular favorites. From five star restaurants to pizza, Chinese, & burger takeouts, there is a wide variety for everyone for every occasion. Also in this neighborhood are the two main supermarkets, Albertson's and Pavilions, which are both, walking distance from our home. Albertson's offers a current selection of DVD rentals for a very reasonable price.

Lower West Newport is a great place for kids to learn to play in the surf due to the rock jetties in the water that break up the rough surf. If you love to shop there are two shopping centers close by, South Coast Plaza and the open air Fashion Island. You may also like to take the historical ferry boat from the Balboa Pavilion across the bay to the charming Balboa Island where there are many shops, restaurants and ice-cream stands. The house is 45 minutes from Los Angeles, 20 minutes to John Wayne Airport (SNA) and 25 minutes to Disneyland.
